Would you know what to do in a medical emergency? At Tribal our mission is to guide or members to their true health, but what happens if someone's health is compromised due to a medical emergency (think of a car accident)? Would you be able to react in a way that could save lives? Join our basic first aid course given by experienced survivalist and British military veteran Andrew Deemer. Our course is a certified American Health and Safety Institute course that will give you the skills necessary to sustain someone's life in an emergency situation while waiting for medical professionals to arrive.
Aside from giving you a great life skill, this course qualifies as a Duke of Edinburgh skill (please reference http://www.dofe.info/go/faqs/#aid ) for our younger members.
This basic first aid course also serves as a pre-requisite to our Wilderness First Aid course which we offer at several times throughout the year and builds upon basic first aid by teaching techniques to sustain life threatening injuries in an environment isolated from advanced medical care.
Date, Time: Friday 25 March & Saturday 26 March, 12:30 to 4:30 PM each day.
Location: The first day's session will be at our facility on Budaiya Highway, the second day's session will be outdoors.
Pricing: BD 60 for the two day certification course, which includes all the materials and the certification test. We also offer a two course package (basic first aid and wilderness first aid) for BD 100.
