We are nearing the end of January and the rush of New Year’s resolution-based motivation is beginning to fade. Now is when a true commitment to your tribe, yourself and your true health will carry the day. Lucky for you, there is a convenient and powerful tool available to the entire tribe at Tribal Fitness that will help you in this regard: the Tribal Fitness Diary. When motivation is waning and time becomes a precious commodity in our busy lives, it is essential to have a guiding plan for success. The Tribal Fitness Diary is just this, a plan for success that will guide you and your entire family to a healthier lifestyle through our banded lifestyle challenges.
As we say at Tribal, “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” With this spirit and ethos in mind, we are encouraging all our members to begin our White Band Lifestyle Challenge on 1 February. This challenge is based around three basic concepts: daily walks, healthy and well-rounded breakfasts, and a good night’s sleep. Simple, sustainable, and highly effective at propelling you and your tribe to true health in 2016.
All of our challenges at Tribal are 40 days in length, with the expectation that you must meet the daily requirements on 80% of those days (32 days total) to successfully pass the challenge. We understand that life is hectic, work, children, time zones, and travel all create issues for our progress towards true health – which is why the standard has been set at 80%, allowing for the unavoidable issues of modern life.
Don’t just stop at the White Band Challenge in your Tribal Fitness Diary though, flip through the pages and use the meal tracker, training tracker and mobility/fitness routines for those days and nights on the road to take your health and fitness to the next level. Bring your diary to a Tribal coach when you’ve completed a challenge and they’ll let you know what you need to do to “band up” to show your progress and the results of your discipline. You’ll notice each of the coaches wearing their colored wrist bands as they progress through the lifestyle and physical challenges alongside you.
Get those Tribal Fitness Diaries out, dust them off, toss them in your briefcase, backpack or purse, and starting recording your progress on a daily basis beginning on 1 February. Remember: If you want to go far, go together. The coaches and entire tribe at Tribal Fitness will be with you every step of the way.
